Yes. The Ardèche is one of the most renowned canoeing destinations in France. Several water sports centers are accessible within minutes from the Domaine, notably in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and Ruoms.
The classic descent of the Ardèche Gorges (24 km) is a memorable experience for groups. Half-day or full-day packages are available, with equipment rental on-site.
Can the Domaine host seminars?
The Domaine is currently evolving to host professional retreats, residential seminars, and small-group executive meetings.
A meeting and video conferencing room is currently being set up to soon offer a dedicated space for businesses.

Are parties, bachelor parties, or bachelorette parties permitted?
No. Parties, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties are not permitted.
The Domaine welcomes family stays, reunions with friends, and private gatherings in a setting that is quiet and respectful of the property.
Does the Domaine offer concierge services?
Yes. The Domaine is managed by a local concierge service that handles property preparation, guest check-in, and ongoing support throughout your stay.
This ensures a seamless arrival, with beds made, the home ready for your stay, and a point of contact available whenever you need assistance.
While the concierge service does not provide 24/7 hotel-style staffing, it offers a responsive local presence to assist with any practical matters during your stay.
Is the Domaine entirely private?
Yes. Every stay includes full private use of the Domaine.
You have full access to the house, outdoor areas, pool, and amenities, with no need to share with other guests.
Can we bring in a private chef or order meals?
Yes. Local partners can assist with meal arrangements, including prepared dishes, click & collect, picnic baskets, breakfasts, or specific meals upon advance request.

Can we organize wellness activities on-site?
Yes. The estate features a treatment room with a massage table where a partner practitioner can provide personalized massages or harmonization treatments upon reservation.
The fitness area, large terraces, and 10 acres of scrubland are also perfect for outdoor activities such as yoga, meditation, and Pilates. For groups interested in a structured wellness program, we can arrange for external practitioners to visit, subject to availability.
Are there any restaurants or markets nearby?
Yes. Le Bar chez Lolo, just a 5-minute walk away, is the village's go-to spot for lunch and casual evenings. L'Épicerie des Cruzières offers local produce and regional wines.
The town of Ruoms, a 15-minute drive away, has all the shops you might need, as well as restaurants. Local farmers' markets bring the villages to life throughout the summer, typically in the mornings.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A security deposit of €1,500 is required before arrival.
It covers any potential damages discovered during your stay and is refunded according to the terms outlined in the booking contract.
What is the minimum stay duration?
Long weekends require a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Weekly stays require a minimum of 7 nights, with Saturday-to-Saturday arrival and departure during high season.
What are the rates?
Long weekends start at €2,250 per stay.
Weekly stays range from €3,000 to €4,600, depending on the season.
Rates include full private use of the Domaine.
Can I book a massage on-site?
Yes. A partner practitioner can provide personalized massages or harmonization treatments directly in the Domaine's treatment room.
Bookings must be made in advance, subject to availability.
Is the pool heated?
No, the pool is not heated.
It is open from May to September, depending on weather conditions and maintenance. A bubble cover is provided to help maintain the water temperature.
A pool specialist visits regularly to perform maintenance on the pool.
Is the Domaine air-conditioned?
Yes, the Domaine is equipped with air conditioning in the main living areas, including the lounge and reception rooms.
The double bedrooms do not have individual air conditioning units. However, the large air conditioning units in the living areas generally help to keep the entire house comfortably cool.
The attic spaces, such as the dormitory and the twin room, are also air-conditioned.
What amenities are available on-site?
The estate features:

How many bathrooms are there?
The estate has a total of 4 bathrooms.
Three bathrooms include a shower and a sink, with separate toilets nearby.
A fourth bathroom includes a shower, a toilet, and a sink.
This layout helps group stays run smoothly while ensuring comfort for everyone.
How are the sleeping arrangements distributed?
The estate features:
- 4 double bedrooms with 160 x 200 cm beds;
- 1 twin bedroom with two 90 x 200 cm single beds;
- 1 family bedroom with five 90 x 200 cm single beds;
- a mezzanine with a children's play area.
This layout comfortably accommodates several families or a group of 15 people.
What is the maximum capacity of the Domaine?
Domaine de Miegessolle can accommodate up to 15 guests for exclusive private hire.
It is perfectly suited for families, groups of friends, and multi-generational getaways.
Is linen included?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are included.
The beds are made before your arrival so that your stay starts easily, without any extra hassle.
Is the region suitable for children?
Absolutely. Southern Ardèche is a fantastic destination for families. The gorges, natural swimming spots, fortified villages, and educational farms offer plenty to keep younger visitors entertained.
At the Domaine, the swimming pool with its children's area, the mezzanine play zone, the volleyball court, and the games room mean kids can have fun without ever leaving the property. Multi-generational stays are a Miegessolle specialty.
What is there to do in the region?
Southern Ardèche offers a wide range of activities less than 30 minutes from the Domaine.
Nature: the Ardèche Gorges, canoeing, swimming in natural pools, and walks through the garrigue. Culture: the medieval villages of Balazuc, Labeaume, or Vogüé, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Local flavors: Provençal markets, local wine cellars, and Ardèche specialties.
