FAQ
Can we go canoeing or do water sports?
Yes. The Ardèche is one of the most renowned canoeing destinations in France. Several water sports centers are accessible within minutes from the Domaine, notably in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and Ruoms.
The classic descent of the Ardèche Gorges (24 km) is a memorable experience for groups. Half-day or full-day packages are available, with equipment rental on-site.
Can we organize wellness activities on-site?
Yes. The estate features a treatment room with a massage table where a partner practitioner can provide personalized massages or harmonization treatments upon reservation.
The fitness area, large terraces, and 10 acres of scrubland are also perfect for outdoor activities such as yoga, meditation, and Pilates. For groups interested in a structured wellness program, we can arrange for external practitioners to visit, subject to availability.
Are there any restaurants or markets nearby?
Yes. Le Bar chez Lolo, just a 5-minute walk away, is the village's go-to spot for lunch and casual evenings. L'Épicerie des Cruzières offers local produce and regional wines.
The town of Ruoms, a 15-minute drive away, has all the shops you might need, as well as restaurants. Local farmers' markets bring the villages to life throughout the summer, typically in the mornings.
Can I book a massage on-site?
Yes. A partner practitioner can provide personalized massages or harmonization treatments directly in the Domaine's treatment room.
Bookings must be made in advance, subject to availability.
Is the region suitable for children?
Absolutely. Southern Ardèche is a fantastic destination for families. The gorges, natural swimming spots, fortified villages, and educational farms offer plenty to keep younger visitors entertained.
At the Domaine, the swimming pool with its children's area, the mezzanine play zone, the volleyball court, and the games room mean kids can have fun without ever leaving the property. Multi-generational stays are a Miegessolle specialty.
What is there to do in the region?
Southern Ardèche offers a wide range of activities less than 30 minutes from the Domaine.
